Alright, I've spent a few weeks on the 320CL. Bit bigger than the regular ones, feels wide but that extra width does make it less shaky with heavy lifts. Original paint's faded and there are a few dents, looks rough if that matters to you. Ran smooth, no mechanical issues, but holy hell it's still dirty inside, coulda put in more effort cleaning it. Battery disconnect came in handy a couple times. Haven't used the radio - never works in these. Bucket teeth were pretty fresh though, so that's a plus. Not fancy inside but gets the job done. Would have loved if they fixed that missing lamp before selling it.

Been operating a 320CL for a while now, picked it up used with around 6k hours. Gotta say, the engine on this one (Cat 3066) hasn't given any trouble so far and hydraulics are tight, no leaks anywhere yet. What I really dig is you can swap out the controls without much fuss-makes it easier when you gotta hop between different machines or bring someone else in. The cab's roomy enough and AC actually works. Only thing kinda annoying is the teeth on the bucket were gone when I bought it, so that's a bit of an extra cost and hassle to deal with right away. But overall, pretty straightforward machine, hasn't let me down yet.

Ran the Caterpillar 320 for a few weeks at a site outside Munich. The cab is solid, especially the new seat - not bad on long shifts, though the AC could be stronger for hotter days. Controls feel pretty smooth, no big lag, even with the bigger bucket. Hydraulic response was kind of sharp, took a bit to get used to. Doesn't guzzle diesel too fast, which helps since fuel prices are up. The maintenance side is ok, nothing weird popped up, but it's not super easy to get at the filters compared to the previous gen. Price is rough if you're buying new though, feels up there, especially for small companies.

Used the 320DL on a bunch of sites. The cab's roomy, which I'm grateful for during those 10-hour days. Controls are easy to figure out, pretty smooth too. But no matter how comfortable, sitting in there all day still gets old fast. Visibility’s alright, can see around you most of the time, but sometimes at certain angles something's always in the way. It holds up decent even when you start hitting some rocky patches, but you're still stopping pretty often for maintenance checks. Job gets done, just don’t go skipping your service intervals or you’ll be sorry.

Alright, I've spent a fair amount of time with the Caterpillar 320 and here's my perspective. It's got reliable power and performs well when digging. However, the seat could be a tad more comfortable for longer duration tasks. Maintenance is mostly straightforward, except accessing some components felt tricky. Nevertheless, it's a dependable machine that gets the job done properly.

I've used the Caterpillar 320 for about a year as part of a variety of projects. It’s got good hydraulic precision-makes detailed tasks less of a hassle. There were a few moments where I thought the operation could be slightly smoother when switching functions quickly. Nonetheless, it’s a solid machine for handling different environments, and the maintenance is pretty straightforward as parts are easy to source and swap out.

We have a CAT 320 mini excavator at our enterprise. Everything was fine until recently when the boom started hanging. The boom can only be raised properly if several operations are performed simultaneously. I didn't dare to fix the breakdown myself because I lack experience. I started looking for a specialist in foreign machinery. It took me a lot of time, but I achieved the desired result.

We had a 320B LN on a site where it did a bit of everything, trench, lifting pipe, grading around forms. That versatility is real, you don’t feel like you need a different machine for every little task.

Service access is one of the better parts. Daily stuff is easy to get to, and when something does need parts, you can usually get them without waiting forever. That keeps downtime low, which is the whole point.

Comfort is fine, not luxury. Controls are user friendly and it’s not a weird machine to hop into if you’ve run other Cats. I will say keep an eye on undercarriage wear if you’re living in rough ground… tracks/rollers/idlers can get sloppy if you let it go.

Honestly, I've put in a lot of hours with the 320B L and mostly it's just reliable, does what it needs to. Controls are real straightforward, don't need to mess around with things and cab space is decent. I deal with a lot of different jobs, switching between digging and loading and it's got enough versatility for what I need. Haven't run into much with the electrics, but I keep up on maintenance. Only annoying thing for me is the dust that builds up around the track area but that's kind of standard. Wouldn't say it's fancy, but it's a workhorse for sure.
